One practice,
built with intention.

I'm a licensed massage and bodywork therapist with over two decades of experience in bodywork, reflexology, and nature-based wellness. My approach blends grounded technique with deep listening — offering care that is both skillful and soulful.

Every session is a distilled expression of my practice: simple, intentional, and deeply restorative. I opened this practice to serve the Chapel Hill community — and the families and professionals of Briar Chapel and Chatham Park — with the kind of care I'd want for myself.

Everything you
need to know
before you book.

Whether you're new to massage therapy or just new to working with Kimberly, these are the questions most people have before their first session.

Where are sessions held?+
Sessions are offered in two ways.

At Kimberly's home studio in Briar Chapel on Montes Drive — a private, calm treatment space just minutes from your front door. Please note that reaching the studio requires walking up a short flight of steps.

At your home — Kimberly can bring a professional massage table to you anywhere in Briar Chapel, Chatham Park, or a nearby location. If you have your own table, she's happy to use that too. Just let her know when you reach out.
What should I expect at my first appointment?+
Your session is designed to feel easy from the moment you arrive.

  • Dress comfortably — you'll have a private space to prepare before your session begins.
  • Undress to your comfort level — you are always draped, always in control, and your preferences are respected completely.
  • Plan for a 70 or 100-minute window — your 60 or 90-minute massage is bookended by 5 minutes before to connect and clarify your needs, and 5 minutes after to rest and reorient.
  • If you have an injury or health condition, you'll address it in the intake form before you arrive — no need to explain everything on the day.
What are your hours and how do I see availability?+
Kimberly typically offers four sessions per day, Monday through Saturday. Because this is a private practice, she keeps the schedule intentionally small — which means you get her full attention, not a squeezed timeslot between back-to-back clients.

Availability and online booking with intake forms are coming soon. In the meantime, email or text to ask about open times — same-week and even next-day appointments are sometimes available, so don't hesitate to reach out even if you need something soon.
What's your cancellation policy?+
Kimberly reserves time exclusively for you when you book — that time can't easily be filled on short notice.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are charged 50% of the booked session fee. No-shows are charged in full.

Life happens — if something unexpected comes up, just reach out as soon as you can and she'll do her best to work with you.
Can massage help with my specific issue?+
Most likely, yes. Kimberly commonly works with clients experiencing:

  • Neck and shoulder tightness — one of the most common complaints, and one of the most responsive to skilled therapeutic work.
  • Lower back and hip tension — often interconnected, and addressed together for lasting relief.
  • Tension headaches — frequently rooted in the neck, upper back, and base of the skull. Many clients find significant relief after a single session.
  • General tightness and restricted movement — whether from sitting at a desk, physical activity, or just the accumulation of daily stress.

If you're unsure whether massage is right for your situation, just ask. Kimberly is happy to talk it through before you book.
I'm older — is this right for me?+
Absolutely — and you may find it more beneficial than you expect.

As we age, muscles lose elasticity, joints stiffen, and the body holds tension differently than it did at 35. Therapeutic massage is one of the most effective, evidence-supported tools for managing these changes — improving circulation, reducing chronic discomfort, supporting mobility, and calming a nervous system that often stays in a low-grade stress state.

Kimberly works with clients navigating joint stiffness, reduced flexibility, arthritis, chronic pain, and the general wear of an active life. Her approach is firm enough to be genuinely effective and responsive enough to feel safe — always calibrated to what your body needs that day, never forced.

If you've been hesitant, your first session is a low-pressure way to find out what this work can do for you.

You've been meaning to do this.

Booking takes less than two minutes. Choose your session, pick a time.
